Girls and autism - Many Voices conference 2019 - BOOK NOW

Tuesday 2nd April 2019 - London

Girls with autism remain a disadvantaged and vulnerable group in our society. The work of NAHT's Autism and Girls Forum over the last two years, has identified multiple and various factors which cause this.

Significantly this conference will launch the book 'Girls and Autism: educational, family and personal perspectives' (Routledge publishers). This book has contributions from leading practitioners and academics in the field of autism, plus family members and girls who live with autism and its challenges. Many of the contributors will offer workshops sharing their insights in the public arena for the first time.

Founder of A2ndvoice Venessa Bobb willbe faciliating a workshop on her contribution to the launch of the  book called "Black Girls and Autism" - sharing her experience raising her children with ASC and the many challenges she faced.
